Hours of Operation

The Park and Zoo is open 365 days a year from 8:30 a.m. until dusk.

WINTER SEASON - Thanksgiving Day to Victoria Day

• Park grounds and zoo area are open from 8:30 a.m. to dusk.
• Office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Guest Services / Gift Shop is closed*.
  *HOLIDAY SHOPPING HOURS: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - November 22 and 29, December 6, 7, 13 and 20
• Miniature Train Ride is closed.
• Conservation Exhibit in the Dobbin Building is closed.
• Splash pad is closed.
• Snack bar is closed.

SUMMER SEASON - Victoria Day to Labour Day

• Park grounds and zoo area are open from 8:30 a.m. to dusk.
• Office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Guest Services / Gift Shop is open daily, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Miniature Train Ride is open daily, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Last train leaves the station at 5:45 p.m. weather and maintenance permitting.
• Splash pad is open daily, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weather and maintenance permitting.
• Conservation Exhibit in the Dobbin Building is open July through to the Labour Day weekend, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. weekdays and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends.
• NOTE: The snack bar will be unavailable for the 2024 season.

FALL SEASON - Labour Day to Thanksgiving Day

• Park grounds and zoo area are open from 8:30 a.m. to dusk.
• Office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Guest Services / Gift Shop is open weekends only, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. -- closed Monday to Friday.
• Miniature Train Ride is open weekends only, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. -- closed Monday to Friday.  Last train leaves the station at 2:45 p.m. weather and maintenance permitting.
• Conservation Exhibit in the Dobbin Building is open Saturdays only, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Splash pad is closed.
• NOTE: The snack bar will be unavailable for the 2024 season.
