2024 Annual Fun Run A Big Success

A big thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday, June 29 for the 13th Annual Fun Run fundraiser for the Riverview Park and Zoo.  Some wet weather didn't dampen anyone's spirits and the morning was a huge success!

This year's focus was to raise funds in support of improvements to the aviary exhibits for some of our amazing bird species here, such as the Sun Conure, Golden Pheasant, Emu and many more!  We'd set out with a goal of reaching $5,000 to support construction of a new outdoor aviary space and to revitalize our indoor aviary spaces and you all came through in a big way!

Thanks in part to our top fundraisers, Em & Miss B and Jackson Dettman, not only did we reach our target goal but we surpassed it with a total of $8,000 funds raised!  

On behalf of Riverview Park and Zoo, we truly appreciate Runners Life helping to organize this annual event, as well as the support of our many sponsors and volunteers that made it possible. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
