Rotary Education Centre
What is the Rotary Education Centre?
The Education Centre was built in 2013, through the generous support of both the Rotary Club of Peterborough Kawartha and the estate of long-term Rotarian, Clarence “Pug” Pugsly.
The multi-purpose room is located in the Guest Services building near the main gate, and accessed through the door next to the Guest Services entrance.
The space is available to non-profit community and charity organizations and comfortably accommodates up to 50 people. It is equipped for educational programs and meetings, and contains the following:
- chairs and tables on casters
- a flip chart, projector and HDMI cable (*any Mac products will require that you bring your own cables)
- a kitchenette with a sink
- two washrooms (one accessible) with change tables
Booking the Rotary Education Centre
- Non-profit community and charity organizations can request weekday bookings between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Requests are on a first serve basis and must be submitted a minimum two weeks in advance of your requested date.
- All groups using the space will be required to provide a copy of their liability insurance policy, naming Riverview Park and Zoo as an additional insured.
- Riverview Park and Zoo must approve all requests before bookings are confirmed and secured.

PLEASE NOTE: A minimum $20 cleaning fee will apply to each booking, with all furniture returned to the original layout.
If the room is not left in the condition it was found, an added deep cleaning fee of $100+ will be charged.
